Bollywood Star Asin shifting to Mumbai
Asin's parents have moved from Chennai to Mumbai with her. They have given up their jobs to look after their talented daughter's flourishing career.

'Both of them gave up their jobs to be with me. Mom is a doctor. She has taken voluntary retirement. She manages my home now. And dad had seven business enterprises. He gave them up to look after my career. Right now I'm quite a handful and worth more than all his business ventures,' she laughs delightedly.

Ghajini with Surya, Ghajini with Aamir; How different was it?
It’s the same story, screenplay and ‘Kalpana’ of course is the same character. So the only difference is that the Hindi Ghajini caters to a much wider set of audience, because it’s Bollywood. But for that, I personally did not feel any obvious distinction between the two.
Vipul Shah had to buy you a pair of shoes worth 2 Lakhs that you picked up?
Ha ha ha! This is one thing prevalent in Bollywood that is not there in Kollywood…...even when you do nothing, it gets talked about! I am still getting used to it as I hear rumours are an integral part of the industry but when it happens to your own life it feels different and I keep telling the Bollywood media that with such imagination they can come up with a successful blockbuster masala movie! And to answer your question, where is my 2 lakh shoe? Frankly, I wish I got one!
Asin praised by critics for her GHAJINI performance
Aamir Khan, the actor, has the habit of springing surprises. In fact, it would be no exaggeration to say that the film celebrates the return of the commercial potboiler. This formula works!
Besides Aamir, the other loveable factor about the movie is Asin, who makes her Hindi film debut with Ghajini. She breezes her way through the role of Kalpana, with a spontaneity and simplicity which is quite captivating. She more than manages to hold her own opposite Aamir and excels in the scene when she is hounded by the goons. As for the rest of the cast, Jiah Khan as the helpful medical student and Rawat as Ghajini are just about competent.

Vipul Shah spends 2 Lacs for ASIN's shoes
Bollywood Director-Producer Vipul Shah is filming his hindi movie London Dreams in London and more locations of Europe with Asin, Salman, Ajay and film crew. In an important scene opposite Ajay Devgan, Asin complained that the shoes provided to her were uncomfortable and they did not look good either. Vipul Shah waited till Asin handpicked a lovely pair of black shoes, decorated with studs, in Paris and rushed back to the sets to resume the shoot.
Vipul Shah had paid for the shoes. Reportedly, Asin did not even enquire the cost of the shoes, and Vipul didn’t tell her about it either. Even the director-producer doesn’t seem to be complaining. He said he doesn’t compromise on the quality in his films. Well, do you know what's the cost of the pair of shoes beautifully decorated with studs? Just worth 3000 Euros or 2 lakh in Indian Rupees approximately.
