Kerala born multilingual Indian film actress Asin Thottumkal, who will be seen opposite Salman Khan in her forthcoming film READY, is all praise for the actor who she says is very straight-forward and can never indulge in double standards.
Asin has earlier worked with Salman Khan in London Dreams, followed by Ready and both the times, the bubbly mallu girl couldn't help but get charmed by the Khan.
If gossip-mongers in B-town are to be believed then Khan has gifted Asin a puppy and a flat, but the actress denies receiving any such presents.
"The rumours doing rounds about Salman gifting me anything is totally absurd. I love pet animals but I don't have any. And about the flat, I found the report silly as I am staying in the same flat where I moved during Ghajini," she said.
Talking about her experience of working with Bollywood's hottest hunk, Asin says, "Working with Salman is fun. We share a great bond and comfort level and therefore even work becomes pleasure."
She is the leading lady in 'Ready' but actress Asin Thottumkal says she has no problems with Salman Khan hogging the limelight in the film's promotions.
"When a film stars Salman Khan, it is but natural that the script is written to accentuate his presence in the film. It is also logical to have the film revolve around him. The same has to reflect in the promos as well where his style and mannerisms are exposed to the audience," Asin says.
During the making of Ready, Asin was constantly overwhelmed by Salman’s kind nature. “He extends so much help to new talent. I’ve seen youngsters come to him for advice with their portfolios almost every day. He takes them under his wing if he believes in their talent,” says Asin, adding, "He is chilled out and not insecure despite all the hype and euphoria surrounding him. I love his straight-faced humour."
Asin, who is alleged to be having a hook-up with the B-town's most eligible bachelor Salman Khan, seems to have observed the hunk quite closely.
Salman is considered the 'bad boy' of Bollywood, but Asin says, "I personally never experienced his notorious side. He is very pure from his heart and direct with people."
"He never speaks one thing on the face and other on your back," says Asin about Salman Khan. He is something special and I would love to act with him again and again, she adds.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, Ready is all set to release on June 3.
